The Fortima series is designed for the toughest conditions, performing in both dry hay and wet silage. Comprised of a chain and slat elevator system these balers are robust and high spec. The Fortima series of round balers is available in V and F models. The Fortima V produces bales at a variable diameter between 1.0 metres to 1.50 metres on the V 1500 model and 1.00 to 1.80 metres on the V 1800 model, catering for grass silage as well as hay and straw. The Fortima F produces bales of a fixed 1.25m.

Fixed and Variable Bale Size

The Fortima V series features a variable bale chamber capable of producing bales of multiple sizes. Layer by layer, the two chain elevators press the material into tight, well-shaped round bales as more material enters the bale chamber. The Fortima F series provides bales of a fixed 1.25 metre size.
